Oscars 2012: Miss Piggy set to steal the show in Oscars fashion parade
“Moi got together with several of the world’s most famous and fabulous designers and challenged them to make something fantastique for moi to wear.
“The theme for my dress is “Wow! as in “Wow, nobody else could pull that off except Miss Piggy. It’s designed to catch your eye, and make George, Brad and Kermie drool all over me.”
Posen, who is best known for his figure-hugging fish-tail dresses and has described the svelte actress Natalie Portman as his favourite fashion muse, also has experience dressing fuller-figured women.
He designed a dress for Oprah Winfrey for last year’s Academy Awards.
Miss Piggy also revealed that she will be accessorising her outfit with jewels by Fred Leighton. Her trademark blonde tresses will be styled by Kimberly Kimble, hair stylist to the stars whose clients include the singers Beyoncé and Shakira.
