"I'm proud to be a Jag because we're real champs," adds junior Anthony Caito. "We all have a good attitude and we work really hard."

"The most interesting thing about our team this year is the way they have bonded," coach Mike Cantwell observes. "It isn't very common for wrestlers to genuinely like each other, but these guys really do."

Cantwell is a chemistry and biology teacher at Gregori High, as well as the wrestling coach. "As a team, we improved a great deal over the course of the season," he says. "We started out as a very young team, but by the end, we were MMC champions."
