Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet announced Carolyn Nasca was named director of emergency services. She oversees a staff of doctors, nurses, health unit coordinators and paramedics.
Nasca earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in management from the College of St. Scholastica. She has years of experience in a variety of health-care areas, including: cardiac intensive care, bone-marrow transplant, home health and hospice, young-adult units, director of nursing at an assisted living facility, director of acute care at Fairview and coordinator of St. Luke’s Breast Center.
Dawn Anderson of Hermantown was hired as a stylist at
Avenue 45 Hair Designers. Anderson is a master stylist with 18 years of experience, specializing in hair-coloring, cutting and makeovers. She has had extensive training and continuing education throughout her career, most notably completing the Color Mastery program at Matrix Global Academy in New York in August 2010. In addition to being a stylist, Anderson is an artistic educator for Matrix, training stylists in color, cutting, technique and trends.
