hip_domestics: DIY haircuts?
I buzz my husband's hair as needed and have been fine doing straight-across trims on myself and my daughter. But I have collar-length hair now and I'm finding myself just incredibly bored with it. I bleached the tips and dyed them purple and blue and that totally didn't satisfy my boredom. So I'm thinking of doing something crazy short, but funds for regular haircuts are very limited. FWIW I think there is a way to get B while being tactful. I always tell stylists exactly what I am looking for, and make it clear that I need a cut that is going to age well and not require much in terms of maintenance.
