Rapunzel, Rapunzel you ruined my hair
Have you ever gotten a really terrible haircut? Well, if you think yours was bad, just wait till you see what Rapunzel has done to people’s hair!
“Rudy’s House of Beauty” is the latest spin on a classic fairy tale to be performed at SS Dixon Intermediate School. Under the direction of third grade teacher, Karen Carrese, twenty-five of Dixon’s third through fifth grade students will present “Rudy’s House of Beauty” on February 23rd at 6:30 in the school’s cafeteria.
The play tells the story of Rapunzel while she’s in beauty school.
This is the sixth play produced by Karen Carrese at Dixon and the third play that was written for the school by parent volunteer and freelance writer, ToniAnn Guadagnoli. “Mrs. Carrese tells me which fairy tale she wants the play to be about. She decides what genre of music she wants in it and I take it from there. This year she wanted a story about Rapunzel, set in a beauty shop in the 50’s, and that’s how “Rudy’s House of Beauty” was born.”

could anyone have imagined Blair would be trapped in a loveless marriage pining for Dan or that Nate would be running a newspaper or that Serena would have stopped flashing her cleavage rhombus to sport shirts barely covering her booty?
