Glam Slam: Paula Patton's Beauty How-To
It’s a little ironic that Paula Patton is a COVERGIRL Brand Ambassador (for the Queen Collection) — if there’s anyone who is so naturally beautiful they DON’T need makeup, it’s Paula! And as usual — she looked utterly gorgeous at the NAACP Awards.
“We decided to go for a sultry look and play up the eyes while keeping the skin radiant,” her makeup artist Fiona Stiles says. Here, Fiona shares how you too can achieve the same look.
“After moisturizing and prepping the lips with lip balm, I used a Beautyblender and a synthetic foundation brush to apply the foundation. I added a COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Concealer in ‘Light’ where needed, and a bit of COVERGIRL + Olay Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush in ‘Lush Berry’ on the apples of the cheeks with a dual fiber brush, then set both of those creamy products with a loose translucent powder (COVERGIRL Professional Loose Powder) and a bit of the COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Pressed Powder in ‘Light Bronze.’ Then I used the COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Bronzer ‘Light Bronze’ for a touch of a little warmth on the cheeks, and a slightly deeper bronze, COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Bronzer in ‘Brown Bronze’ for contour, applied sparingly.
