( Health.com ) -- Want to brighten up your face without looking like you're wearing too much makeup? Use shades that warm up your skin, like peach, coral, and earthy green.
These fresh neutrals are flattering for all, says Channing Barnett, M.D., a New York City dermatologist. "They're variations of earth tones," Barnett says, "so when you apply them correctly, they light up your skin."
