Dr. Mauricio Giraldo, M.D. and his team of cosmetic surgeons at the Advanced Liposuction Center are now providing clients Silhouette Facelift, a no-scar and no-downtime alternative to traditional facelift.

A traditional facelift, technically known as a rhytidectomy, is a type of cosmetic surgery procedure used for the removal of facial wrinkles and other signs of aging. As the tissues around the face change with age, the skin loses elasticity and becomes lax, making the face assume a tired sagging appearance.

The typical approach to restoring a youthful facial appearance was to perform a lower face-lift, S-Lift, short scar face lift or MACs Lift. These procedures enable effective correction of displaced tissues and rejuvenation. However, the downside of this surgery is significant scarring and recovery time lasting for four to six weeks.
