Classic bob still going strong
The bob is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and stars like Rihanna and Katy Perry are still head over heels with the iconic hairdo.
If you fancy embracing the classic trend, here's how to choose the right style for your face shape.
If you have a round face shape, you need to keep your bob a little longer. Try something with choppy layers and avoid waves, curls and straight-across fringes.
For square face shapes, avoid blunt bobs with a heavy fringe, as this will accentuate the squareness of your features. Go for softer, smoother lines, side-swept fringes, and bobs that are longer through the front-side area.
For diamond face shapes, straight-across fringes work well because they halve the face's length, and blunt bobs (to the chin) and wavy bobs look good too because they enhance the face's width.
