African hair isn’t always that strong. perms can actually help hair. and the people who wear giant afro’s are usually mixed.

but most african women don’t know how to manage their hair. weaves are good. they give our hair a break. but GLUES AND TIGHT BRAIDS ARE BAD. they make it worse and your hair breaks off.

a lot of times if out hair isn’t permed it tends to break off and is weak. so if we want our hair to grow out. treat it right

perms don’t help peoples hair grow. Perms help burn out your hair. Most black people DO know how to manage? their hair, weaves aren’t good and covering your hair with other types of hair or anything isn’t allowing your scalp breathe. If it isn’t permed and tends to break off then that’s when you MOISTURIZE your hair. Don’t keep it dry! don’t rely on perms to put moisture in it! Natural oils like Shea butter definitely will work, so try not to perm as much ur only killing ur hair
