Penultimate Issues: Batman Beyond Unlimited #1 Review

The Batman story opens with Batman taking on a gang of Jokerz, a group of kids who idolize their namesake.  Bruce meets with Police Commissioner Gordon (Barbara, not Jim) and they discuss the notion of the Jokerz being organized, something that has not been apparent in the past, and the uncertainty of what they may be working towards.  I enjoyed this first issue and I think it was a pretty good on-boarding for new readers.  There were some small issues that readers of the previous series were more aware of, like Doug's back story and Terry's friend Max being recruited by an anonymous organization to do some illegal work online.  But I feel pretty confident that will all be revealed soon.  There definitely was some nice resolution to the conflicts within the story and...
